The Ideal Office Location in Munich

Millions of people have visited this location, set out on their travels from here, or returned here from far-away places. A location that spurs the imagination - a place full of emotion and history. Construction of the Wappenhalle was completed in 1939. There was however no official opening ceremony, as the Second World War began to take its course.

Also Munich’s then central airport of Riem took its toll of damages, still visible today. By the end of the war, around 70% of the airport was destroyed, and the Wappenhalle had taken severe damage. It was June 16th, 1951 until its former glory was finally restored.

The first commercial airplane to land here was a Pan American World Airways DC-3, on April 6th, 1948. For four decades the building served as the airport’s representative reception building, until flight operations were finally ended for Munich Riem on May 17th, 1992.

While most parts of the former airport have been demolished, the Wappenhalle - and the Tower - are now listed buildings and have been refurbished to their former glory. This building is part of Munich’s rich history, and is seen today as one of the city’s landmarks and a centre for communications.

In other words: The perfect location for your representative office.
